SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

The Camp Motorsport Scholarship Fund is made possible due the generosity and commitment of individuals, businesses, alumni, and friends. The purpose of the program is to provide tuition assistance for children with limited financial resources who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend.

Overview:
-Scholarship assistance is available for campers attending one-week camp sessions only. (Funds are not given for a child to attend multiple weeks of camp, or for adult/child weekend programs.)
-Scholarship awards will be determined based on an applicant’s financial situation, along with the availability of scholarship funds.
-Criteria for selection include financial and merit considerations.
-Scholarships are not publicized, and there is no knowledge within the camp community of which children have received assistance

Family Financial Commitment: Every camper family is required to pay the minimum deposit of $295 per child, from their own funds. This amount is due at the time of application. Scholarship application will not be considered without deposit. This deposit is refundable for scholarship applicants until June 1. After June 1, applications for scholarships will be accepted based on availability of scholarship funds, and deposit will be non-refundable. Family is responsible to pay the remaining tuition balance due, less any scholarship amount awarded, by June 1.

Generally, families should not expect 100% funding of the remaining balance. We encourage those who require assistance to seek additional sources of support from family, friends, and their local community.
