SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS
The Camp Motorsport Scholarship Fund is made possible due the generosity and commitment of individuals, businesses, alumni, and friends. The purpose of the program is to provide tuition assistance for children with limited financial resources who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend.
-Scholarship assistance is available for campers attending one-week camp sessions only. (Funds are not given for a child to attend multiple weeks of camp, or for adult/child weekend programs.)
-Scholarship awards will be determined based on an applicant’s financial situation, along with the availability of scholarship funds.
-Criteria for selection include financial and merit considerations.
-Scholarships are not publicized, and there is no knowledge within the camp community of which children have received assistance
Family Financial Commitment:
Every camper family is required to pay the minimum deposit of $295 per child, from their own funds. This amount is due at the time of application. Scholarship application will not be considered without deposit. This deposit is refundable for scholarship applicants until June 1. After June 1, applications for scholarships will be accepted based on availability of scholarship funds, and deposit will be non-refundable. Family is responsible to pay the remaining tuition balance due, less any scholarship amount awarded, by June 1.
Generally, families should not expect 100% funding of the remaining balance. We encourage those who require assistance to seek additional sources of support from family, friends, and their local community.
1. Parent/Guardian should send an email to email@example.com

-Describe what you expect your child to gain as a result of attending Camp Motorsport
-Any other information that may be helpful in assessing the application
2. Enroll child for the one-week camp session of your choice, and make deposit payment.

3. Provide two letters of reference from two adults, such as a teacher, school principle, youth group leader, religious leader, coach, etc., who know the camper well enough to attest to their character, and that they are deserving of a scholarship. Adults must be un-related to the child/family. The adult should email their letter of reference directly to firstname.lastname@example.org
Applications are reviewed bi-monthly, with priority placed on an applicant’s financial situation. Notification will be based on the availability of scholarship funds.
